Molecular Nanotechnology

olecular nanotechnology is a basic technology toolbox to realize smart nanodevices in molecular plasmonics and functional nanotechnology as well as to develop novel detection principles in biochip techniques and bio photonics. The utilized combination principle is based on self-assembly between the different biofunctionalized elements (bottom-up building blocks). Novel construction rules with highly selective bioaffinity interactions offer a parallelized and cost effective integration of building blocks or devices in a (top-down) technological periphery.
