and the Innovative Photonic Materials research group continue the Institute’s successful work of the past years in the development of special optical fibers, passive and active fiber components, fiber modules and fiber-optic sensor systems, expanded by efforts to develop thin film photovoltaic systems and innovative photonic materials, and flanked by investigations into nanowires, nanofibers and nanoprobes.
