Successful Collaboration between IPHT and the University of Stellenbosch: Congratulations to Alexander Heidt!

Alexander Heidt, 29, is the first doctoral student in the physical astronomy department of the University of Jena to complete a “per cotutelle” or double dissertation. (The French term refers to support given by two universities.) Heidt obtained his doctorate from both the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena and the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
