With these research fields we address markets and mega trends such as life sciences and health, energy and environment, information and production, and safety. The technological research areas >Micro and Nanotechnology<, >Fiber technology<, and >System Integration< are the basis for the development of innovative key technologies and the backbone of the application-oriented areas of research.
